The short version

Connecting Google business data is optional. Nothing is checked in the background. You can disconnect from the SEO assistant, remove Website Rebuild through your Google Account, or ask us to delete your Website Rebuild account and project data.

01

What we access

Google sign-in uses only your basic account identifier, name, verified email address and profile information. It does not give us access to your Analytics, Search Console or Business Profile data.

If you separately connect Google business tools from the SEO assistant, Website Rebuild can list the properties available to you and check only the property you select. Google data is read only when you press the relevant refresh or check button.

We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar or Google Ads. See the complete Google user-data disclosure for the information stored and how it is used.

02

Disconnect Google inside Website Rebuild

  1. Sign in at app.websiterebuild.com.au.
  2. Open the relevant website, then open its SEO assistant.
  3. Find Your Google data and select the connected Google account.
  4. Choose Disconnect this Google account and confirm.

This asks Google to revoke the refresh token, then removes the encrypted token, discovered property list, website-property selections and saved Google verification evidence from active Website Rebuild systems. The disconnect applies to every managed website linked through that same Website Rebuild connection.

Disconnecting business data does not sign you out if you use Google as your login method. You may continue to sign in with Google, or use the passwordless email-code option.

03

Delete your Website Rebuild account or project data

To close your account or request deletion of project information, email steve@apheta.com.au from the email address associated with your account. Include the business or website name and say whether you want a Google connection removed, a specific project deleted, or the whole account closed.

We will confirm the request and delete or de-identify the relevant information unless it must reasonably be retained for legal, security, billing, dispute-resolution or backup-integrity purposes. Protected backup copies age out through normal backup rotation and are not used for ordinary product functions.

04

Revoke access through your Google Account

You can independently remove Website Rebuild from your Google Account:

  1. Open Your connections to third-party apps and services.
  2. Select Website Rebuild or Sunny Coast Websites.
  3. Review the access shown by Google and choose the option to remove the connection.

Revoking through Google prevents further token use. To remove property selections and saved verification evidence from Website Rebuild at the same time, also use the in-app disconnect control or send us a deletion request.
